Fish Buyer Registration

The buyer of fisheries products from a fishing vessel at first sale must be registered with the competant authority of the Member States where the first sale takes place. In Ireland buyers must register with the SFPA via the DAFM Corporate Customer Management System.  

For registration, please complete the relevant form below and submit along with copies of supporting documentation to salesnotes@sfpa.ie

 

For a Company Registration please complete;

 

For an Individual Registration (Sole Trader) please complete

 

The following supporting documentation must be provided with the completed application form ;

Company Registration

  • Confirmation of VAT Number - Notification of VAT Registration, or VAT receipt, or Acknowledgement from the Revenue of VAT payment.
  • Proof of address – A copy of a utility bill or bank statement
  • Proof of Authority to Register on behalf of Company - A letter signed by all partners of company directors or a letter from the head of the corporate body on headed paper stating who has the Authority to sign on behalf of the company.

 

Individual Registration

  • Confirmation of PPSN – Letter from Revenue Commissioners
  • Proof of Name – a photocopy of current passport or current Irish or EU driving licence
  • Proof of Address - A copy of a utility bill or bank statement.

Once registration is completed you will be sent log in details/password. You can then submit Sales Notes/Takeover Declarations via the FishingNet portal FishingNET - Post Landing Documentation (Sales Note/TOD)
